Top 5 Social Networking Apps on iOS in Sweden Q4 2022

Throughout Q4 2022, the top five social networking apps on iOS in Sweden saw different trends in weekly downloads and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

BeReal: Photos & Friends Daily experienced a decline in weekly downloads, starting from about 32K in late September and dropping to around 7.9K by the end of December. Despite the decrease in downloads, weekly active users saw a slight increase from approximately 279K to 302K during the same period.

WhatsApp Messenger maintained a relatively stable download rate, with weekly downloads fluctuating between 7.9K and 13.8K. The app's weekly active users remained consistent, ranging from 2.26M to 2.34M throughout the quarter.

TikTok Now saw a significant drop in weekly downloads, starting at about 47.7K in late September and decreasing to around 788 by the end of December. Similarly, weekly active users decreased from approximately 44.8K to 30.5K over the same period.

Messenger had stable weekly downloads, ranging from 4.7K to 7.3K. The app's weekly active users fluctuated slightly, starting at about 1.57M in late September and ending at approximately 1.58M by the end of December.

sendit - get it now experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, peaking at around 19.2K in early November before dropping to about 3.9K by the end of December. The app's weekly active users increased from approximately 5.4K to 24.8K during the quarter. Additionally, sendit - get it now saw a rise in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $437 in late November.
